Jazz/Ballroom Violin Quartet
Leib Jazz Quartet (Leonid Levin with fellow musicians). The Violin Jazz Quartet performs at various concert halls, (most recently at Steinway Hall), and provides music for events, (most recently at the Plaza Hotel Grand Ballroom, the Whitney Museum, and MOMA... Violinist Leonid Levin has toured the USA with many concert programs, including classical recitals in which he is featured as the soloist, as well as with the Leib Jazz Quartet. He has toured with Eric Clapton and Luther Vandross, among other artists. He is featured on the recently released CDs by American composer David Heckendorn with the solo-violin piece"Nostalgia"-dedicated by the composer to Mr Levin. New albums "Ballroom Dreams"and"Yesterdays" present new compositions by Leonid Levin for violin jazz quartet and arrangements of classic American composers J.Kern, C.Porter, G.Gershwinn...
